The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
The Human Resource Business Partner will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's work processes, its long-term strategic goals, and its culture.

Responsibilities:
Conducts weekly meetings with respective business unit supervisors.
Consults with management to serve as an operational resource, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes and reports out to operational leaders and Corporate HR group, trends and metrics in partnership with Corporate HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
Including but not limited to effective, thorough and objective investigations utilizing standard processes.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.
g.
, coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to serve as communication conduit to improve work relationships, communication, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees.
Attends and sourcing events and serves as recruiter for approved vacancies.
Processes personnel transactions through the HRIS that are not processed at the Shared Service Center.
Implements Corporate HR programs, policies, and processes to ensure standardization and optimize efficiency.
Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Coordinates, schedules and provides training of employees in accordance with requirements and goals.
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Follows up to ensure training objectives are met and provides feedback about effectiveness of training programs.
Provides updates as to leave management and tracking of employees' leave start and end dates.
Files workers compensation claims upon occurrence with the Workers Compensation carrier.
Verifies payroll of employees prior to submission of payroll for processing by the Shared Service Center.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business or HR, Master's Degree highly preferred.
SHRM or HRCI certification desired 4 or more years of with Human Resources functions.
Must possess fundamental HR knowledge, skills and abilities including the practices and procedures related to all areas of employee transactions Has excellent MS Office skills, Adobe Acrobat and other databases including but not limited to ADP, Share Point and LMS Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
